I Got my first pair of keeper Striped Bass today, EVER! Usually, I get one and my charter gets one, or two for them, none for me, because I want to keep them smiling! Today's group was a last minute cancellation, so I hung out with the girlfriend, who by the way, didn't even want to put on waders! It was cold this morning. She's new at this and trying to figure out the addiction for Stripers from the surf.( SHE BARELY FISHED BEFORE IN HER LIFE.) I still like her! We wound up with six Stripers total in the three hours that we were there. Four were short of 28 inches. Mandy caught the biggest short @ 26inches.
