Captain Jj, Captain James and deckhand Brian Stegall took an awesome group, 4 from Albuquerque and two from Anchorage out for a Combo trip for the second year in a row (3 of them) We began the day teasing big buff RJ about last years episode with the fighting belt for a little fish. Note: good thing RJ is very easy going! We then had an enjoyable boat ride out to one of our favorite Halibut spots and had a unique day of fishing. The Halibut bite was on and then off and then on again where in between huge Ling-cod started hitting. We also managed a few Rock-fish and a couple of Salmon but stayed on spot for the Halibut bite most of the day. Richard Sutton hooked into an enormous Skate that darn near whipped us all. Quite a battle just getting it to the boat with the current running as hard as it was.

The clients were: Dianne Clement and her brother from Anchorage, Richard Sutton, RJ, Russ and Pat from Albuquerque.

We look forward to their return again as they truly know how to have fun and boat some fish!
