Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report
Raritan Bay

Had a bit of a problem had one of my regulars booked for a charter today and I didn't have a boat. Made a call to Capt Carm owner of the Lucky Carm and he said Eddie just take my boat it's yours! (Thanks Again Carm) So we leave the dock at 6am with Chris Szucs and his 4 guest. We set up local on the drift and Chris hits a 4.5 pounder on the head I start thinking this could be a good day but it was not to be. Had wind against tide all day long. Made a few moves and picked up only a few keepers. Th guys were all understanding and will be back again.

My boats no big issue the fastener from the steering cable to the rudder cracked so I lost steering luckily it was close to Petersons gas dock so I hope to get it back soon.
