Happy St. Patrick's Day. Well it sure has been a long winter but it is time to go back to work for all of us hear at Sharkys. I've been up hear at the store for about a week now getting things ready for the season putting up new stock, folding all the new tee shirts, and removing 4 1/2 months of dust on everything.

As far as the fishing right now I would call it a mixed bag. Surf fisherman are catching dog sharks, skates, croaker, puppy drum, and a scattered big bluefish. We ran a 1/2 day charter on friday with Wendel and Karen Lewis from Kentucky, and caught 12 big bluefish and all the dogsharks they could handle. Boats running offshore have been catching both bluefin and yellowfin tunas. The water temperature at the Duck Pier is 50.2. There is a low tide at 11:25am and a high tide at 5:24 pm.

Good Luck,

Chris at Sharkys
