It was an overcast day and it looked like it almost wanted to rain, the water level at Indanda Dam has now risen and Inanda Dam is now almost completely full. Nikao Fishing Adventures took their clients out at about 6am. For the first try we went to some deeper structure around 6m and put down some drop shots with finesse worms. After about 30 minutes, we decided it was not working and decided to go to the flodded grass areas and throw weightless flukes into the shallow flooded grass. We used the Strike King Arkasaw Shiner Z-Toos on very light 6ft Rods for accuracy and distance.

First Cast and Roy was into a Big Bass of around 2.0Kg (+/- 4 1/2lbs) after a few smaller fish Roy again beat us all and landed another Big Bass of around 2.5Kg (+/- 5 1/2lbs). We carried on and landed a few small Bass again including on of around 1.4Kg (+/- 3lbs) and Roy did it again and got a whopping Big Bass of around 3.0Kg (+/- 6 1/2 lbs). This Big Bass gave Roy a superb fight and kept the reel running for some time before we brought him onto the boat. Well done Roy. After taht we got a few more Bass which brouht our count for the day to about 12 Big Mouth Bass for the 5hr booking.
