Big carp on first outing

St. Lawrence River, Ontario - Freshwater Fishing Report
Long Sault

<p>The carp measured 40 x 25 inches, weighed in at 32.5 lbs. Took about 5 or 6 minutes to bring in, had the drag set very loose to avoid popping the hook out of it's mouth.

As opposed to the smaller ones 12-15 lb carps that tend to run like crazy, this one just seemed to slowly go where it wanted. I compare it to HP vs. torque.

Hopw to catch more giants this season.
