This week and the weeks to come the trout fishing is the best bet!

Windy cold fronts and cold water somtimes makes it difficult to put a client on a big hit.

So my go to guy is that 4 and 5lb. trout.

Before the front the fishing is great, and after the front the fishing can be good too!

I normally try to wait 1 day and fish in the afternoon on high water.

This is when I get on the grass and find the big guy. The top water plugs that imitate a finger mullet are working real good now.

I also like weedless 6" soft plastics.

For most people who come from out of state to fish, the weather is beautiful. It is for us,

but to the fish that live here, its very cold.

The fish will feed if you just slow it down a bit.

See ya on the water!
