Saturday night i decided to take our guest out to fish for night time yellowtail snapper. We got an early start and decided to do some quick trolling out to 400 feet but not much action since no birds and definite weed lines where present. Eventually we located some nice structure in 60 feet of water before the sunset. We managed to get our limit of yellowtail snapper by 10:00 PM and eventually headed in before the storms move in. Other reports at the ramp where consisted with our catch. No mangrove snappers or mutton snappers where reported this evening. Speaking to other anglers the mangrove snapper spawn is way overdue. We will be back out again on Friday doing the same. All in all a great night fishing!
