Boy, July was a good month if you like Reef Fishing. All my trips for the month of July have been fishing South Dade and Northern Key Largo. For the most part all of our trips have been succesful. The Yellowtail Snapper fishing has been Red Hot!. The bottom fishing has also been good with the occasional Grouper, and Mutton Snapper. For the month of August we expect the same except we will be limiting our night trips since Lobster Season is in full swing and there will be numerous amounts of lobster traps that could potentially cause damage to your lower unit. Further offshore there is plenty of small Mahi-Mahi with the occasional gafer. There has also been some reports of Wahoo while High Speed Trolling.
