Robert and I started out around 10:30am and rolled up on the first spot and first cast I caught a nice 20" Striper on a Bomber diver. I hate when I catch anything on the first cast. Serveral hours later after trolling and casting on some new creeks and points, we hit a old favorite spot and Robert landed this nice 25" bass on a X-rap. This year is the first all catch and release season for Stripers in the Cape Fear River system. These fish will only get bigger from here on out. Now booking trips for December and Jaunaury, so give me a call.

Bio: Fishing the Cape Fear Area for over ten years. Fly fishing and light tackle for inshore and near shore fish year round. Come fish for Stripers from November through April and an assortment of saltwater fish April through November. I love to night fish during the summer to beat the heat and the crowds.
