[Wilmington,NC] Even though temperatures were near 100 degrees this weekend, the fishing was pretty good. The mornings seemed to have the best action as the bite would slow down during the heat of the day.

[Wrightsville Beach,NC] On Saturday, May 17, I had the pleasure of having Gregg Boots and his family aboard for a day of fishing. Dispite slow conditions due to a passing weather front, we managed to have a good day of fishing.

[Cape Fear River,NC] Greetings all!!!The inshore Redfish bite continues to be fantastic!! There are a lot of big Redfish scouring the creeks and flats foraging on the abundant bait fish that is in the water now.
Great Fall Fishing Bite Along South Carolina (10/01/2007)
[Wrightsville Beach,NC] Fishing along the Carolina Coast from Surf City Down to Southport is just on fire. Redfish, Speckled Trout and Flounder are the big draws in the inshore waters, while King and Spanish Mackerel, Mahi, Gray Trout and False Albacore are the big draws in the offshore waters. Wahoo are going off in the stream.

[Cape Fear River,NC] Inshore fishing is just fantastic. There are lots of over slot Redfish being caught as well as Speckled Trout, Flounder and Bluefish. The topwater bite has been really good, especially early in the morning and late in the evening.

[Wrightsville Beach,NC] The King Mackerel bite has really picked up with lots of fish being caught within 10nm of the beach. Hard and live bottom areas are holding tons of Sardines and Cigar minnows and the Kings are there feasting.
The Dolphin Bite Continues (6/10/2007)
[Wrightsville Beach,NC] The Dolphin Bite off Wrightsville Beach, NC continues to be very good. Dolphin have been caught as close as 10nm this week, however, the better bite still seems to be in the 20-25nm range in the clearer, bluer water.
Dolphin Fishing Wrightsville Beach (6/04/2007)
[Wrightsville Beach,NC] Fishing this past weeek has had the Dolphin bite doing really well. Dolphin have moved in as close as 15nm on out to the stream with bigger fish being caught in the stream. Look for some good catches inside of 25nm in the next couple of weeks. Live bait, dead cigar minnows, ballyhoo and natural squid baits are all working well.

[Wrightsville Beach,NC] Fishing along the coast from Topsail Beach down to Southport is really turning on. The water has continued to warm and the fishing is just getting hot.

[Wrightsville Beach,NC] The weather is hot and so is the fishing. Offshore the Kings and Dolphin are still biting. More and more Sailfish are being caught as well. Spanish Mackerel are thick on the beach. Try trolling clark spoons or casting to the schools for these tasty fish.
