Low Temps Lower Tides and Fish Still Under The Birds (11/21/2006)
[Sabine Lake,TX] We have been catching lots of trout with a few redfish under the birds when the wind allows. The best baits have been Tidal Surge Split Tails in Glow chartreuse and American Midnight on once heads. The birds don't want to hold on the fish long so watch for the shrimp when you come up on a flock of gulls working. Hoginars have been by far the best bait for reds will fishing the birds.
