Low Temps Lower Tides and Fish Still Under The Birds (11/21/2006)
[Sabine Lake,TX] We have been catching lots of trout with a few redfish under the birds when the wind allows. The best baits have been Tidal Surge Split Tails in Glow chartreuse and American Midnight on ¼ once heads. The birds don’t want to hold on the fish long so watch for the shrimp when you come up on a flock of gulls working. Hoginars have been by far the best bait for reds will fishing the birds.
