A Bay Charter Report (11/07/2006)
[Apalachicola,FL] Apalachicola and Port St Joe along the Forgotten coast. Port St Joe area still has plenty of fish on the flats. Today we found good redfish and trout on the west side of the bay and large schools of jack in the 30 lbs range on the east flats near butlers. But the canal is the hot spot for trout , redfish and flounder. Jig heads tipped with shrimp are bringing lots of fish to the boat , but live mullet or bull minnows fished on the bottom are the ticket for a fish fry. Live shrimp is catching sheepshead and drum.
