[Melbourne,FL] The bass bite has moved to mid-day with the advent of the full moon. Look for the bite to gradually move back to AM with the return of the dark moon. Artificial bite is getting better.

[Melbourne,FL] The days were a combination of the coldest day of the year; a warm Southern Breeze; a tremedous Southern Wind; Lots of Rain; You name the weather - we had - including Tornados. However, we managed to catch nice bass.

Bass Are Eating - Catch Report From Stick Marsh (1/07/2007)
[Melbourne,FL] Bass are shallow and eating. They are in the South end of the Farm and all over Garcia. Bass at Stick Marsh and Farm 13 are in the shallows and acting like they are spawning. Beds are not visible. This is the normal spawning condition. Bass are taking the shiners deliberately and slowly. The bass are also shying away from action lures like spinner baits and other fast moving baits and settling for slower speed baits like Tiki Sticks and soft plastics rigged Texas or Carolina style.

Joe Dove Lands 10 & 11 pounders In Stick Marsh & Farm 13 (1/03/2007)
[Melbourne,FL] The catching was tough on the 2nd and Excellent on the 3rd. The bass wanted larger wild shiners. Joe Dove landed several five pounders, two six pounders, one 6.75 pounder, a ten pounder and an eleven pounder.

[Stick Marsh - Farm 13,FL] An excellent catching week just went by with an other one on the way! It’s been a wonderful week. Excellent guide trips on Wednesday and Thursday at Stick Marsh and Farm 13 that included some excellent sized fish. Eight pounds was the largest. Fished a tournament on Toho on Sunday . Gary Clark and I went to Garcia on Monday.
