Comfortable Fishing Conditions For Banana & Indian River Near Cocoa Beach (1/22/2007)
[Cocoa Beach,FL] The recent warm weather has made for comfortable fishing conditions.
Winter Tactics (12/26/2006)
[Cocoa Beach,FL] When winter comes and water temperatures cool, you need to change your tactics. Cold fronts, wind, and the holidays have kept me off the water this week and now that time is available another cold front is invading the area. This one looks like it might produce some colder water temperatures.
High Winds, Cold Fronts, and Fire Trucks (12/12/2006)
[Cocoa Beach,FL] Cold fronts and high winds severly limit fishing. High winds and cold fronts have slowed the fishing in my area lately. One trip was cancelled and others probably should have been. Tomorrow, however, is another day and it seems like no one is more optimistic than an angler so we just keep going anyway.
Dear Santa (11/27/2006)
[Cocoa Beach,FL] With the holiday season up on us it is time to think about that Christmas List. I narrowed mine down to only three items. Merry Christmas Everyone
Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island Fishing Report (11/20/2006)
[Cocoa Beach,FL] The winter season turns my thoughts to Black Drum. They can be caught around brides and other heavy structure. My personal favorite bait is jumbo shrimp but they can also be caught on clams and blue crabs.
Banana River, Merrit Island Fishing Report (11/09/2006)
[Cocoa Beach,FL] Cool weather may call for latter start. The morning temps were under 70 and the bite did not start the the temp rose above 70.
Everglades Excursion Fishing (10/17/2006)
[Cocoa Beach,FL] I travelled out of my region to fish the Everglades for the first time and ended up catching big snook on live mullet. The mullet themselves were a pound and a half!
Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island Fishing Report (9/24/2006)
[Port Canaveral,FL] The mullet run has started and fishing should improve.
Key Lime Braggin' Time (9/11/2006)
[Florida Keys,FL] Nothing like catching your first of any fish. This past week it was a first bonefish and a first permit.
Big Win for the Little Guy (8/12/2006)
[Cocoa Beach,FL] Summer months can provide big fish action for smaller boats.
