Bio: Captain Ryan began his fishing days in the NE Canyons off of New York before moving to South Florida fifteen years ago. Since then, Ryan has specialized in offshore live bait, bottom fishing, and nighttime swordfishing. After earning a business degree from University of Florida, Ryan returned to South Florida to continue his saltwater adventures as a USCG licensed captain. Ryan is also a licensed NAUI SCUBA instructor and tournament fishing angler with wins throughout South Florida. [Fort Lauderdale,FL] We have entered what I call our Fort Lauderdale fall fishing. Kingfish and Wahoos are on the deeper side of the reef while, a few bonitas and tunas are on the shallower side. On the bottom snappers are still biting well as well as lobsters for the divers. Offshore we have been catching scattered dolphin as well as swordfish.
