[Pulaski,NY] Winter is officially here and the low cold water on the Salmon River has really slowed the activity down. Water temps continue to drop and slush is an everyday problem. Looks like a warm up for the weekend but nothing drastic.

[Salmon River,NY] Well the rain dance for the weekend fell on deaf ears at we barely got enough to bring fish into the small streams, and it did little to increase the flows on the big rivers.

[Pulaski,NY] We made it through another Columbus Day weekend. With water in all the area streams and the river at a level that makes it difficult to see the fish, it really was not that crowded, considering it was the biggest weekend of the year.

[Pulaski,NY] The past week has been up and down for both lake and river anglers. The lake has plenty of fish but they continue to play cat & mouse. They move around a lot and bite great one day and refuse to bite the next.
