Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fished the bird life in the AM..all blues, no bass. Hard to beleave guys still have to run hooked up in shallow water, right through the life to get there first! Don't even want to get into that, as guys were probably out for the first time and really wanted to kick butt! .
Tried clamming, NG. Water temp ranged from 52 to 54 degrees no matter where we went...Holiday weekend, Boat load of customers, not many fish, run all over the ocean, fuel $4.75 a gallon....Priceless....Capt.Ron
