Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report
Bay

Once again, hard to find warm water today. 50 at the end of the day was it. Managed a few nice keepers with Buster Lubeski, Hamilton Twsp. N.J. landing the largest of the season so far...33 inches, 14 pounds. Paul Smitko also had a nice 29 incher with a couple shorts. Not good fishing for most of the day. Looked over several area's, not much bait or life. Heard there were loads of bunker up the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers....Weather this week should get things moving....Thanks Paul for the generous donation to SSFFF, it's much appreciated!! Capt. Ron
