Speckle trout are being caught at Carolina Beach Inlet, soft plastics with a heavy jig head works well. Live finger mullet on a carolina rigs is also a great to fish for speckles.

Speckle trout have been biting well at the changing of the tides, when the water is not flowing out at a really fast rate.
