More Trout Catches This Month by Doug Blanton (1/10/2007)
Fishing has still been up and down for the past few weeks but the good news is we have been having more on days then off. We have boated a good number of of slot sized reds which is different for me but great for anyone wanting to take something home. We are seeing a few fish in the 30 pound range but most of them have been extremely spooky.
Winter Tactics by Ron Presley (12/26/2006)
When winter comes and water temperatures cool, you need to change your tactics. Cold fronts, wind, and the holidays have kept me off the water this week and now that time is available another cold front is invading the area. This one looks like it might produce some colder water temperatures.
High Winds, Cold Fronts, and Fire Trucks by Ron Presley (12/12/2006)
Cold fronts and high winds severly limit fishing. High winds and cold fronts have slowed the fishing in my area lately. One trip was cancelled and others probably should have been. Tomorrow, however, is another day and it seems like no one is more optimistic than an angler so we just keep going anyway.

Everglades Excursion Fishing by Ron Presley (10/17/2006)
I travelled out of my region to fish the Everglades for the first time and ended up catching big snook on live mullet. The mullet themselves were a pound and a half!
Schools Of Reds Have Been Spooky by Doug Blanton (8/23/2006)
The schools of reds we have been fishing have been pretty spooky. All of the fish we have boated have been caught poling on their outside and letting them come to us. This has been a little bit of a challenge on some days when we have had a number of boats try to work into the areas we have been fishing with their trolling motor or motor up on a flat.
Near Shore Indian River Fishing Is Great by Tom Van Horn (8/13/2006)
Light tackle saltwater fishing report from Florida's east central coast.
