Wow, has the fishing been great this year so far or what? Even bad days produce some fish and the sizes have stayed just above that keeper level. Cranks and spoons are taking there fair share, but the harnesses with BB baited with the real deal on them are taking bigger numbers for sure. I've tried to get away from the real crawlers somewhat and started using Gulp this year more and more. Some days they work better then real bait, others no so good. I know I personally like knowing that my bait is still there after a few short strikes, and that if using real crawlers would have picked the hooks clean. But it's as much a confidence choice as any thing a man chooses to use. A recent cold front that moved through on Friday 6-22-07 put the fish off their feed a bit when we fished today 6-23-07. But we did manage to box a few decent fish for the half day trip. I'm also including a few other trips before this one for your viewing pleasure. Still got quit a few July charter dates left. As always, be safe, fiish smart and tight lines. Capt: Dan Manyen.
