crappie are getting into the shallows, some are still hanging in the 10' range, but caught some in the 4' dept. you can use minnows with a cork or a small jig casting and bumping it off the bottom. Both are working well.

Crappie males will hold in the deeper water about 8' to 14' until the spawn is in full action.
