Striped Bass Night Trips Are Heating Up"

Even with the NY 20.5 in. legal size for fluke we are starting to see a better ratio of keepers to through-backs. The Bob Lorrie crew had a great combo day Sunday with nine keeper fluke the largest at 6 lbs. 4 oz. Through-backs about 30-35. Also had about 20 or so bluefish in the 6 to 10 lb. range with Bob Jr. getting the biggest. (Jr. is only 10 yrs old). Way To Go Jr. Also included in the days mixed bag were 7 seabass and 1 striper (short). Many sea robins and a hughe skate, again handled by who else "Bob Jr." Everyone having a great time and I think I enjoyed the trip the most watching Mr.Bob Lorrie Jr.working out on these fish. Night trips for stripers are getting better. Drifting eels, chunking and live lining bunker, (when possible) Give us a call and get in on the action.
