Decent Blackfishing continues

Long Island Sound, Connecticut - Saltwater Fishing Report
eastern LI Sound

I had some friends out for a quick trip to the reefs inside Fisher's Island on Thursday. We moved around a little bit, and each stop produced decent numbers/sizes of blackfish to about 6lbs. Total was maybe 30 keepers, and we culled some of the smaller ones towrds the end of the trip(they stay alive beautifully in the well). Ths might be it for the year- the boat is on the trailer for now, and might not get back into the Sound..... we'll see what the weather gives us.

good fishing!!
