Prince Rupert, British Columbia - Saltwater Fishing Report
Hecate Strait

Great weather and calm seas followed us all day. The Prince George gang whacked a few Halies and Lingers today. This is the start of it. Next week there will be a few more boats out and the slaughter will gradually slow thru the charter season. At this time of year there is no pressure on any of the well known jigging holes. We can move around and target the most agressive lingers and Snapper. We are back out tomorrow for another day of fish bashing.

Bio: 21 years guiding experience on the west coast. We specialize in catching large and agressive Salmon and Halibut. Welcome to the Deep Spring Charters home page. My company specializes in catching large and aggressive Salmon and Halibut. These are not our only targets though. I love seeking out Lingcod, Snapper and Rockfish where they live. These fish are not safe when I am on the water. It is not uncommon to have all my fish coolers filled to the top by the end of the day. I call this food gathering.
