Slick calm on the water this AM. You could run as far as you wanted in total comfort with no wind at all. We got a late start this AM and decided to hit an island on the way outside. That was all it took! The trout and reds were slamming artificial lures and live cocahoes under corks. The trout were 13-20" with very few throwbacks. The redfish were 17-28" and were real drag screamers. A great day on the water. I only burned 10 gallons of gas, which is significant at $3.75 a gallon. I see no reason to run past fish! This action will eventually end as the water temperature inches upward, but until it does we will continue to catch them up. Big crowds out today and I guess people did well because we saw a steady stream of boats headed back toward the dock around 10 AM. Good luck out there this week!
