Cold and windy today out of the Delacroix marsh. The water was extremely low. I was tough getting out of the boat slip. The fish did not mind at all. Limits of trout at the interior deep bayous on plastics. Smoke and alvacado colors were hot on 1/4 ounce jigheads. We set up on the edge of the drop offs and picked up trout after trout. We had many throwbacks, but the fish that made it in the box were 12" to 18". The fish wanted slow to no retreive action. The fish were not real aggressive, but the bite was easy to detect. After the trout action, we headed to the windward edge of an interior lake and started picking up reds, drum and flounder on live shrimp 2 feet under corks. The best action of the day came afternoon. There is no real reason to get out there super early right now. Good luck out there this weekend!
