One stop shopping for trout this AM. Smooth seas with only a light breeze to cool off today out of Delacrix. The strong incoming tide had some nice water out around the islands. The fish were staged and ready, hitting artificial cocahoes and live shrimp. The artificial out fished the live 4 to 1 today. The trout wanted the plastics on a slow roll bumping the bottom. The live shrimp were effective early under corks. Thre trout were all 14-18" and solid. We had a few reds, black drum and flounder mixed in to top off the chest. The action is really ready to take off outside. Good upcoming weather this week should have the fish well into the summer pattern. Good luck out there this week!
