Blake Nelson

The bait has moved into the bay and the fish are feeding like crazy. The trick has been to find the fish...once that is done we're throwing just about anything in front of their faces and they're devouring it. The average size redfish has been around 4 pounds but we're getting some 7+ pounds bruisers just about every trip. We're also catching some quality trout in the 3-5 lb range with two this week over 6 pounds.

Fish Species: Redfish and Speckled Trout
Bait Used: live and artificial
Tackle Used: light spinning tackle
Method Used:
Water Depth: 1-2 ft
Water Temperature: mid 70s
Wind Direction: South, Southeast
Wind Speed: 8-12mph
