In the last month I have had the pleasure of taking some chilren, families and some serious light tackle anglers out drop shot fishing in Durban Harbour. I especially love it when a child get his/her first fish and the look on ther face and the instictive way they clutch onto the fish. Then I can talk them through it until they get the fish to the boat. In the past month we have landed several King Fish (Jacks) of various species, some really decent size Springer (Lady Fish/10 Pounder) and some really small Sea Pike (Pick Handle Baracuda) and even 2 Snoek (Queen Mackeral). All caught by fishing the drop shot method, and always on the same type of lures.
