Nikao Fishing Adventures had been fishing in the deep water all morning, it was cold raining and windy. We decided to pack it in and head on home. It was suggested that perhaos we troll some small lures on light rods (bass rods with 10lb line) on the way back. On the way in we started noticing a lot of showings on the sonar and very shortly after that we started noticing a lot of surface activity on the dirty side of the in-shore colour line. We decided to head towards the activity a little south of the harbour mouth. We headed straight for the centre of the shoal of bonnies with the theroy that they will split up and regroup behind the boat and hopefully onto the lures. It worked as we had 8 rods out and we got eight reels screaming. There was only 3 off us and so we had some good fun. This continued for some time and we also got some small king fish and we got a nice 6Kg Eastern Tuna during this period

Love nature and outdoors, Am very conservation minded and have a passion for birds. I am crazy about big Tuna, Marlin Fishing and Game Fishing, and also love light tackle spinning, am a total lure junkie. I want to write a book on fishing one day. 3 items left on my fishing bucket list, guess then a new bucket list will be in order. As a writer I have my own quote: \"I love taking people fishing because it releases their inner child, and in doing so keeps my inner child alive.\"
