We were on the water at 6pm wednesday evening. We were able to find bunker right away so we put about a dozen in the cooler and anchor near a school that was looking nervous. Right away we started hooking up with bluefish. They were all about 5lbs each. As the sun began to drop the Bass turned on. They were very picky this even. There were alot of short runs and missed hook sets. As it began to get Dark the bass became more agressive. We started to hook up and put them in the boat. We landed 6 keeper fish all in the 30-35 inch range and very fat. All fish were released to fight another day. Ran back to the dock about 10pm.
