The canals in the Florida Everglades have been on fire lately for catching trophy largemouth bass. We have had some success recently down on L-67 when launching out of Holiday Park but it does not seem to matter where you go; we are catching them good as long as we are using the right baits. We have been catching the better fish in the morning on the Zara Spook and the Gambler cane toads just inside the pad line. However, you still can not go wrong when the bite slows throwing a watermelon red fluke or a pumpkin seed Gambler ace rigged wacky style. The triple digit days are finally back with the occasional 7 or 8 pounder in the mix and should continue with the low water levels in the canals. See all of you on the water!

Tight Lines,

Capt. Steve
