Shad fishing has came and gone for another year looking forward to next year. The wild Rainbow Trout on this part of the river bite all day long on fly's, plugs or bugs , hooked a lot of fish from 1 lbs. To 5 lbs. on the past couple trips out.

The Steelhead are starting to show up in the river and the fish count is up from last year that is a good sign for the Steelhead fisherman. Sept. ,Oct. ,Nov. are the best months to go Steelhead fishing on the Sacramento River. Good Luck
