The last week on Guntersville had been something to remember. Each day boated between 50-70 fish with best 5's over 20lbs. The fish are biting anything and everywhere. The best bet seems to be fishing shallow early with spinnerbaits and crankbaits keying on the shad spawn. After that you can catch the fish that are shallow on yum dingers and lizards or go to the outside grasslines and throw a 7-9 ft running crankbait. The fishing is as good as I have ever seen it on this lake and will only get better with the topwater bite just around the corner. I have may 19th-21st,24th,25th,26th, and 30th.
