Decided to Change it up today...With the hard west blow in the forecast and swell we seen in the Morning. We decided Stripers would be a better option and everyone was game. Shrimpan Steve, Eric the Mortgage Man, Pat Sr. and Jr Cool hand Al and Nate The elevator mate rounded out todays crew.

Left Nice and early and headed up the beach... Seen some scattered marks on machine some... birds pickin but nothing good made a quick stop on some Bunker but no takers...Continued on and started to see some birds come together. Nate caught our first bass on reading then we looked up and seen them busting and birds nose diving.

Had them all to ourselves only 1 other boat there... Hooked every rod up with bass following the hooked ones to the surface!!! Mayhem!!! Boxed 9 More Keepers here and lost a Bunch More.

The life broke up a bit but Looked around and it Wasnt long and they popped up again... We had everyone hooked up again( lots of times) and went into release Mode for a couple hours with countless keepers being released before we called it quits on the bass.

We had a limit by 10 am. Mutiple hookups galore was netting them two at a time ... Great sight to see for april!!! The ate pretty much everything crocs diamond jigs plastics and Bunker.

At lunch time we headed back towards home and anchored up to try for some Blackfish. Current was Brutal... could barley hold with 10 -12oz. managed a few short blackfish and cod along with 1 Keeper Cod. with these conditions and the great day we had we called it a day.

We had over 50 Keeper size Stripers to 28lbs with everyone taking home a Limit and relasing all the others for another Day.

Eric and Steve pleasure as always!!! Pat congrats on your new personal best at 28lbs you beat dad for bragging rights . Happy Birthday Nate!!! and Al your a fishing Maniac see ya tomorrow!!!

Thanks Fellas!!! Fun day!!!

Will be Blackfishing the next few days... Open boat spots for Blackfish available Tues and Thurs. Will also be adding stripers to the schedule.
