The last couple weeks have been great on Guntersville. The averages have been 25-40 fish on full day trips with best 5's near or over 20 lbs everyday. You can catch them at any deep and on every part of the lake. You can fish shallow with topwaters or soft plastics, fish the 4-6 ft with crankbaits and big worms, or step out deep and fish the creek and river ledges in 12-20ft. The fish seem to be bunched up feeding heavily on shad. The next few weeks will only get better as more fish start top really group up on the ledges.
