Guntersville Lake, Alabama - Freshwater Fishing Report
Alex Davis

The fishing the last week on Guntersville has been awesome. Each day catching a bunch of fish between 40-70 with the average best 5 weighing 19-23 lbs. The fish seem to be everywhere from up shallow for numbers 1-4 ft and deeper 10+ ft for the bigger fish. Go 2 Bait plastics seems to be the key in the shallow water where Rapala dt crankabtis seem to be best for the deeper water. The next few weeks will only get better with the topwater action busting wide open. I have May 11th,17th,19th,20th,21st,25th,26th,30th, and 31st.
