We fished dodging the storm clouds and wind last night. The night started out slow with wind against tide conditions. Again we fished clams because of the Bluefish. After 3 drops we decided to jig some fish and the results were a bunch of bluefish. Late in the tide I wanted to give it one more try so we anchored and started feeding them. The bass seem to like the end of the incoming because we had a nice bite for 1.5 hours. The result was 3 keeper fish, 3 throwbacks and a few lost fish, oh yes steady bluefish, even on the clams. 2 of the fish were nice 23 and 24 lbs. There was life around with fish on top and marks on the machine. We are going back to the bunker for the weekend! Captain Jerry Beaver Teachers Pet
