Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 11/24/12

This past week on Guntersville showed great improvement, even with the worst of the week it was a great improvement as compared to most of the fall. Don't get me wrong the fish didn't jump in the boat, but you had an opportunity to catch fish and it seemed like the days were just much better. There was a confidence most of the time that you will catch fish.

Most of the time we fished an Alabama rig, although it was not the bite we saw this time last year. We also found fish that would react to jerk baits, Tight-Line jigs and a big worm. You had to really slow your baits and be a patient fisherman to be successful. The mid part of the lake seemed to offer up more bites than we could find up river.

Let's all hope for enough cold weather to eliminate most of the grass or we could have a tough spring also. Come fish with me, fishing is good, certainly not great but you can have some fun!
