Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 12/3/11
Although cold in the mornings fishing on Guntersville has been extremely active all week, the bass are still doing some fall chasing of bait and the activity is really good. The water temperatures are still in the low 50's and there is still big bait balls all through the lake. The bass are extremely fat from the feeding they look like footballs and catching has been really good with good numbers every day. The key has been just finding bait being moved by the bass, when you see bait activity fishing has been good all thru the lake.
We fished many different bait's this week; from Punisher Spinner Baits, jerk baits, Punisher Shaky heads and worms and caught fish on all of them. The bass were not very picky as they seemed to hit just about anything we fished. It seem though that if we had some wind the bass were more active, so that made the coldest part of the day the best fishing as the wind seemed to blow in the early mornings.
