Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 2/17/13

We are getting into the time of year where the ever changing weather changes again and again. This has presented some challenges for the fisherman as one day would be bright and sunny and the other might be cold, rainy, snowy or overcast. All these presented daily challenges and caused me to change patterns just about every day on the water.

My week took me to all ends of the lake trying to put together consistent patterns from the lower end to the upper end of the lake. I must admit that except for one day it was a bite here and there though out the week. The one day we really wacked them the fish had moved up into two feet or less of water and in a period of less than an hour we put nearly twenty keepers in the water with a good sack of around 18 lbs.

The weather is making it challenging but it has been a lot of fun, it test your determination every day but I believe it is well worth it.
