Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 4/7/12

Fishing appears to have taken a bite of an up-tick from last week, there are more bites and bigger fish are starting to move to the ledges and we are seeing more post spawn aggressive fish. That's the good news; the bad news is we appear to be heading into an early summer pattern where the average fisherman will struggle unless they understand how to fish the deeper ledges and humps.

This past week one of the exciting patterns was top water, it's like we are in May already and early or late in the day you can get to the grass and get top water bites over the grass with a variety of top water baits! I believe we will see a good solid top water pattern for the rest of the summer and fishing will be fun!

School is close to ending the summer time early and late pattern is approaching, and fishing will continue to be good. Come fish with me I have days available to fish with you!
