Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/3/14
This past week was one of the best weeks of the year, even though it was post spawn fishing, we caught plenty of fish, size was a little down except for one day but numbers were great and action was some of the best of the year. We fished with several different baits, some top water action, a great jig bite and some great fish cranking in deep water.
All good, for sure as the week kept producing and the fish kept us busy and having fun. It was a combination of depths as some days we found them in 20 ft. of water and other days they were active in 6 ft. of water. The top water bite has been spotty for me; I think it will get better as we see the grass get a little higher.
Some great days for sure and great days are ahead, there should be about two more good months of fishing unless it just turns really hot really quick! Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you. No one will treat you better!
