Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/20/13
I think I will be able to look back at the summer of 2013 and be able to say without exception that the this summer may have been the best summer of the 21st century on Guntersville as we continue to catch numbers, size and have a lot of fun on the water day in and day out. The even better news is the frog bite is picking up as we have had some good catches this week working a Spro frog over the lily-pads.
With the frog tournaments on the agenda shortly it is great to see this bite coming together, it should make for some great competition for the up-coming events. We also have still had great catches on Tight-Line jigs rigged with Missile Bait D-bombs trailers and all kinds of creature bait soft plastics. It is just motivating to me to continually see such a strong summer time bite.
You want to have fun, try some day this next week to ignite the fish over the deep water with a Spro DD Little John series crank bait, like I have done many times this summer! It is a blast, come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you!
