Sal Mattino

Hello again from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters. This started out as a road trip down to the FLorida Keys.Once or twice a year I will Charter out down in the Florida Keys.I usually fish Islandmorada area.I enjoy the change of pace with some good bottom fishing available in the Keys.

This particualr trip we used light tackle & tried our hand at gray triggerfish. They are hard fighting and some think good eating.I believe their strike is similar to that of a Sheepshead.Tension on the main line is a must! After a light nibble setting up on the fish is a challenge!Along with the gray triggerfish comes an assortment of grunts, grouper and some sharks! That's my report from the road trip of St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters.I am Capt.Sal,boat safe, fish hard!
