Last week had its slow times but the quality fish seemed to be biting. You can catch all the numbers you want chasing school fish on shallow points but clients were looking for bigger fish. Wed and Fri had around 18 lbs with no big fish. Thur was the best day of the week with best 5 31 lbs with big fish of 7 1/2 and 2 over 6 lbs. Thur afternoon a good friend and I went out and didn't have many bites but had one over 5 and one near 5 on a frog. All week it seemed the best patterns is throwing a big worm, a frog, a swim frog, ripping a Moab crankbait out of the grass, or flipping a paca craw or Choo Choo titan jig. I am booked for October and am booking for November.
