Good day Tuesday on the Beach. I had the pleasure of fishing with Jim Doles, his dad Ellis, and his son James. We headed out to the Sound with a well full of Campo�s live shrimp and a few croakers. Our first 2 stops were duds, but at the third stop the guys put some nice Trout in the boat. We had a good bite going till the tide slacked up and the wind shifted slightly. We had to reposition the boat and could not get them going again. We then made a couple of moves and picked up a few fish at each. One more move a little closer in and it was on. They put good Trout in the boat till we ran out of bait. By this time it was hot and time to call it a day, and a good one it was. The guys had a blast putting 65 Trout, 1 Red, and 7 Sheepshead on ice.
The Trout are on and the fishing in Shell Beach is outstanding. Campo�s is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and the newly improved back down ramps are open.
