Had a full day trip Sunday with clients wanting to learn the lake for tournaments next year. We did a lot of looking and moving fishing pre-spawn areas from Seibold to Mink Creek. The main river was extremely muddy making fishing near impossible. We fished points, humps, and ledges having very few bites with most of them coming when the sun popped out for an hour. The best bait seemed to be a jerkbait if you could find clearer water. We fished grass edges in 6-8ft. Biggest fish was over 4 lbs. Thanks to the prop Shop in Huntsville for fixing my trolling motor last week in such quick time. I still have some Christmas Gift certificates available for last minute shoppers.
